Our mission
Most calculator websites are slow, cluttered and confusing. We believe a calculator should load instantly, work on any device and explain its answer. Every tool on BuzzCalc shows the formula it uses, a worked example and answers to common questions, so you understand the result instead of just trusting it.
How we build our calculators
- Established formulas. We use standard, widely published methods — for example the standard amortization formula for loans, the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for metabolic rate and the U.S. Navy method for body fat.
- Tested results. Each calculator is checked against known reference values and hand-worked examples before it is published.
- Plain-language explanations. We write for real people, not textbooks, and note the limits of every formula.
- Privacy first. Calculations run entirely in your browser. We never ask for your name, and the numbers you enter are never sent to our servers.
Free for everyone
BuzzCalc is free to use with no sign-up. The site may be supported by advertising, which never influences how a calculator works or what result it gives.
